Design and launch a quarterly magazine for Hanson, the UK’s leading heavy building materials supplier, to engage its mainly frontline workforce across 300 sites.

Challenge

Deliver a lively mix of all-important company news and messages and more directly people-focused stories and features — all presented in a workwear pocket-sized format.

Result

team magazine’s clean design, handy format and balanced content have been welcomed by both employees and senior leaders. With a careful eye to the budget, photography is used cost-effectively across the pages through a combination of submitted pictures from employees, image bank shots and new work from professional photographers.
