My time at Pages Creative was a blast.

The friendly team of industry experts helped me gain an understanding of what the working world was really like. For each day I spent at Pages Creative, I was skilling up while dressing down.

The team took my skills and interests – photography and graphic design – and created a space for me to hone my creative skills using top-of-the-line Apple Macs (a machine I was unfamiliar with).

They taught me how to use new software, professional terminology, and how each of their roles plays a key part in creating high-quality printed and digital publications for companies.

I sat in on meetings with clients and really got a feel for the discussions, and compromises, that create the best possible product.

I shadowed James in the final process of arrangement for a magazine on my final day. I learnt loads about print requirements – and the tips and tricks to enhance the workflow of everyone there.

I couldn’t have found a more fun and engaging place to have done my work experience.
