At work or at play, it's always busy at Pages Creative

Together in T-shirts

We may not have been allowed to rock in the free world during Lockdown 2, but that didn’t stop us joining in the fun on the national Wear Your T-shirt to Work Day. We were all working remotely to keep everyone as safe as possible, but that didn’t mean we couldn’t have fun – or get the work done

Keeping up the comms

It’s reporting season for Wales & West Utilities, and we’ve been busy producing two major reports for their stakeholders. We’re also helping clients adapt to homeworking challenges during the coronavirus pandemic, by adjusting existing channels or creating new ones to continue all-important communications. Many clients are opting for e-newsletters – read about one of ours here.

Our statement on coronavirus

We are thinking of our clients at this difficult time. Due to recent emergency government legislation on the coronavirus, all team members will now be working from home. Rest assured, we’re still working at full capacity and will be continuing business as usual. Although our office will not be manned, the phone line is open and will be diverted through to one of us. Thank you for your support, and take care.

Work experienced

We’ve welcomed a record number of work experience students this year, seven in total. It’s been great to see how much each of them has taken away from the experience. Take a look at what they got up to during their time with us…

Banding together

We celebrated the BBC Radio 6 Band T Shirt Day for the second year running, representing music’s finest. To mark the occasion, everyone picked three songs inspired by their chosen bands, which we played in the office. Check out the playlist here.

Handsome Devils

Music is the soundtrack to the working day at Pages Creative, so we’ve compiled our own personal Desert Island Discs – and it’s proved so popular, many of our clients have submitted theirs too. To date, The Smiths are in the lead, having been chosen three times (four if you include Morrissey as a solo artist). Thankfully, it’s not been wall-to-wall melancholia, with Wham’s Club Tropicana the only track to be chosen twice!

Work in progress

It’s work experience season at Pages Creative, with two students getting the chance to spend time learning about our business this summer. Writing, proofreading, headlines, concept artwork, design and digital development, you name it, we give them the chance to try it. Plus, they get to learn how to make a decent cuppa too!

Close working

We continue to support and develop work with Wales & West Utilities, successfully designing and producing its annual stakeholder submission for Ofgem

Blooming brilliant

We’re full of springtime spirit, as we’re very lucky to have a view of the cherry blossom from the Pages Creative office. As well as being busy bees with ongoing projects, we have many new exciting projects blooming… watch this space!

Donation goes to a good cause

We enjoyed putting these Christmas shoebox donations together – and we’re hoping the children receiving them will enjoy them too. The toys, games and chocolates will go to underprivileged children across the north west.
